1. Mining Indaba
WHEN: 8-11 February 2027
Mining Indaba is one of the world’s largest mining investment conferences, drawing thousands of delegates to Cape Town each February. Focused exclusively on the African mining sector, it brings together mining executives, government officials, investors, and financiers to discuss opportunities, challenges, and the future of mining across the continent.
As an exhibitor, investing in the African Mining Indaba offers access to a highly targeted audience of senior decision-makers. Mining equipment suppliers, engineering firms, environmental consultants, financial institutions, and technology companies all use the event as a platform to build relationships with buyers and partners.
Industry secret: It’s an unusually international event for an otherwise Africa-focused conference, with professionals from more than 100 different countries in attendance.
2. FMAS
WHEN: 26-27 May 2026
The Finance Magnates Africa Summit is a dedicated fintech conference and exhibition that brings together some of the most influential voices in Africa’s rapidly expanding financial technology sector.
For exhibitors, the event offers direct access to a commercially active audience — attendees are typically there to evaluate solutions, form partnerships, and explore investment opportunities rather than simply attend talks.
Industry secret: South Africa’s position as the continent’s most developed financial market makes Cape Town a natural home for this kind of gathering, and the CTICC’s professional setting reinforces the credibility of the event.
3. Africa Tech Festival (AfricaCOM)

WHEN: 17-19 November 2026
Africa Tech Festival, formerly known as AfricaCom, is one of the continent’s largest technology and telecommunications events, drawing thousands of attendees to the CTICC each November. It covers a broad range of topics, including digital transformation, connectivity, fintech, artificial intelligence, and mobile innovation.
Key exhibitors range from global technology companies and telecoms operators to start-ups and public sector bodies, reflecting the diversity of Africa’s rapidly developing digital ecosystem. Learn more about Africa Tech Festival here.
Industry secret: What makes Africa Tech Festival particularly valuable for exhibitors is its scale and the seniority of its attendees. CTOs, CIOs, and senior technology decision-makers attend to evaluate new solutions and find partners.
4. Enlit Africa
WHEN: 19-21 May 2026
Formerly known as African Utility Week and POWERGEN Africa, Enlit Africa is the continent’s leading conference and exhibition for the energy, power, and utilities sector. Held annually at the CTICC, it attracts energy professionals from across sub-Saharan Africa and beyond.
For exhibitors, the combination of a concentrated audience, a forward-looking programme, and the sheer scale of Africa’s energy needs makes Enlit Africa a compelling opportunity.
Industry secret: Energy access remains one of the continent’s most pressing infrastructure challenges, and the event sits at the intersection of the commercial, technical, and policy conversations shaping the sector’s future.
5. WTM Africa

WHEN: 7-9 April 2027
World Travel Market (WTM) Africa is part of the globally recognised WTM brand, brought to the African continent as a dedicated travel trade event. Held at the CTICC, it is the leading business-to-business travel and tourism event in Africa.
The event is built around pre-scheduled appointments and networking sessions designed to facilitate genuine commercial conversations, a format that rewards exhibitors who arrive prepared with a clear proposition.
Industry secret: Africa’s travel and tourism sector is growing rapidly, and WTM Africa reflects that momentum. Cape Town itself has seen an explosive rise in tourist arrivals, which make up a large portion of the city’s economy. A strong exhibition presence at WTM Africa communicates both credibility and commitment to the African tourist market at large.

- The largest individual hall is 4A at 2 982 m².

Tips For Exhibiting At CTICC Events
Here are some top insider tips for making the most out of your time at a CTICC event:
1. Check Which Hall Your Event Is In
Yes, it matters!
For instance, did you know that none of the halls in CTICC 1 (halls 1-4) have carpeting? Or that the halls in CTICC 2 (halls 5-10) have less height to work with?
You’ll need to keep these things in mind as you think about your expo stand design.
2. Know Your CTICC Parking
There are three parking levels at the CTICC: P1, P3, and P5.
Parking at P1 and P3 is free up to half an hour, making it ideal for quick stop-offs. Past that, however, parking at both is roughly R10 more expensive per hour than P5, making them less ideal for heavy loading.
Marshalling yards are available for exhibitors at CTICC 1 and CTICC 2, and this is the way to go for complex loading situations.
3. Explore Different Catering Options
The CTICC offers a range of in-house catering solutions just like any other major international event venue, and is fully licensed to sell liquor. This is the most convenient catering solution by far, as you’ll end up working in-house with the same organiser you already have contact with.

On the other hand, the convenient in-house catering at the CTICC could end up being more expensive for your event. Other nearby options include the Food Lover’s supermarket located in the nearby Icon Building, which can do catering for any CTICC event.
The CTICC also has a pre-approved list of food trucks that service catering requests at the venue.
