Full Custom Exhibition Stand for MELBET at SiGMA Africa Case Study

We worked with MELBET for the third consecutive year at SiGMA Africa in Cape Town, continuing a long-standing relationship and evolving the stand design each year. For this project, the goal was to create a fully custom island stand that felt open, immersive, and highly connected to the brand’s digital identity.

Rather than creating a closed-off environment, the focus was on building a central meeting point within the exhibition hall where visitors could naturally gather, move through the space, and engage with the brand from every angle.

To bring MELBET’s online and digital presence into a physical environment, we integrated recessed LED lighting throughout the structure and continued those lighting lines directly into the flooring. This created a continuous visual flow across the stand and naturally pulled attention toward the central focal areas within the space.

The stand also featured recessed LED display areas, CNC-cut acrylic detailing, and layered illuminated elements designed to keep the structure visually lightweight without obstructing sightlines across the hall. Attention to detail throughout the build was a major focus, particularly across the acrylic fabrication, lighting integration, and seamless finishing.

Built for SiGMA Africa in Cape Town, the project reflected the continued growth of the African gaming and betting market, with the event itself becoming one of the leading gaming and technology conferences on the continent.
