We worked with Afropari for the third consecutive year at SiGMA Africa in Cape Town, continuing to evolve the stand design while adapting to a completely different exhibition footprint for the latest event.
This year, the allocated space changed to a much narrower 4×2 format, which created an interesting design challenge. Rather than trying to overfill the footprint, the focus shifted towards creating stronger vertical impact and using height to increase visibility across the exhibition hall.
We designed and built a four-metre-high custom exhibition stand that brought together strong African-inspired detailing, integrated recessed LED lighting, and CNC-cut feature elements to create a compact stand with a much larger visual presence.
Attention to detail across the finishes, lighting integration, and fabrication was a major focus throughout the project. The goal was to make the stand feel sharp, premium, and instantly recognisable within a busy gaming exhibition environment.
The event itself also highlighted the importance of using high-quality LED products within exhibition construction. During the show, a fire broke out on a nearby stand linked to lower-quality LED equipment. Fortunately, our stand was unaffected, reinforcing the importance of using reliable LED systems and properly integrated electrical components within live event environments.
